Based on the study in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, which were used to nationwide leading in commerce,this paper analyzes the development ofshopping mallin these places .First of all, It summarized the three cities’economy and social development, including the information about theopeningyear, size, investor, investment andthe main business ,etc. And From the perspective of microcosmic aspect, The paper analyzes the similarities and differences among the three shopping malls, including the shopping malleconomicbackground,thecontext of consumer culture, consumercharacteristics, location, investment developers, the wayof operation,thusfinding their overall characteristics and the evolution of the development of the three shopping mall. Finally, the paper concluded that the three places not only evolved through economic growth and social progress, but also the result integrated with the concrete practice of the various places.
